Once you have found a niche or portion in the cake of Google, you must catch it. The algorithms Google uses to determine the ranking of the sites are very complicate and many SEO programs will help you to look good for Google and increase your ranking.
Every search engine will rank you according with the relevance your keywords have in your site. If you use some keywords which are not in your content your site will be understood as spam and ranked very low.
